Google will now find a parking space for you.
Google’s new feature for Google Maps for Android devices will make it easier for you to find parking for your car. Once you’ve set the destination you want to go to on Google Maps, you’ll be able to select “find parking”. Thanks to this feature, parking lots will be nearby. Once you’ve selected this feature, Maps will take you directly to the parking lot. Then you will describe the part of the road that you want to go to as the pedestrian. Google will now find parking for you!
For now, this feature will only be available for Android devices and will only be available in 25 cities. Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas / Fort Worth, DC, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis / St. Paul, New York City, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, San Diego, Sacramento, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, and Tampa.
In addition to these cities, Google recently used the feature of marking areas that it was hard to find parking for iOS and Android devices in new cities. These cities are as follows: Alicante, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Cologne, Darmstadt, Dusseldorf, London, Madrid, Malaga, Manchester, Milan, Montreal, Moscow, Munich, Paris, Prague, Rio de Janeiro, , Stuttgart, Toronto, Valencia, and Vancouver.
